Technical Glasses

Glasses are essential parts of process observation. Their transparent characteristic allows us to view what is happening inside the container. So without them, there is no quality control in industries like cosmetics, and food processing, which use enclosed systems like storage tanks.

But usual glasses have no function in process observation because most of the enclosed systems in the industry contain high-pressure fluids. So using regular glasses will lead to severe disasters since with the breakage of glass, its particles enter products of a critical nature, e.g., foodstuffs. Furthermore, its rupture during process observation can be a serious threat to workers.

So some mechanical processes should be applied to the glass to increase resistance to temperature and pressure. For the convenience of our customers, Teclumos procure different glasses used in sight glasses, including:

Sight Glass Disc, Circular DIN 7080
